Group Guided Adventure Class Stories:
Healing Human Design - Reflector Types
August 27, 2025
Spoiler alert for anyone who hasn’t watched the August 27th Guided Adventure: Healing Human Design, Types of Reflectors inside the Subscription. This was the last Zoom class of August 2025’s Guided Adventure healing theme, and we focused on reflector types.
The overall theme this month was that, just like in astrology or attachment styles, we all carry a little bit of each human design type within us—like personality traits. We started the class by discussing how oddly the HD type of reflector is described compared to the other types. The wording made people with this type seem either like a personality drainer or a lifeless wall. As we do in every Guided Adventure, we removed bias and agenda from ourselves and the topic before going into the healing.
When we looked for the most impactful point of the reflector human design type that we were allowed to heal, we each went to different places once the portals opened. For me, it felt like my eyes crossed and I saw a small black tunnel with two full-length mirrors at either end, facing each other but collapsed forward. A couple of people found themselves in a funhouse. Suz saw an old compact mirror so tarnished it showed no reflection. Susan was transported into a chandelier. All of it carried the same “no reflection” vibe.
As we discussed the defining traits again, Susan described the reflectors she knew in her personal life. We all agreed they seemed more like event coordinators in a sense. From there, we started activating and applying the “clean-off” healings to these reflector sectors we were each in, collapsing what didn’t belong. It felt like this HD type almost didn’t have a place at all. We then merged with our reflector selves, and the channeled message came through: turn your reflective surfaces toward the light.
So we did. At first, it was blinding, but eventually, it balanced out. We talked about how this could help actual HD reflectors step into themselves more fully, and make their role easier, if the rest of the HD types also reflected—creating interdependence. Susan suggested putting the empathy of it all back into balanced divine working order. From there, the work developed into this tower formation of reflections—bouncing insight, ideas, and understanding off each other, but without the overwhelm of intrusive empathy.
We then “copy-and-pasted” this work across all the other HD types we’ve healed in the past, integrated it, and applied it to relationships with others and ourselves. Kate walked us through the close-ups and sign-offs to push the healing further. And, as always, we ended by asking to undo anything we shouldn’t have done.
Thanks for listening. Okay, bye.
