Recapping the Guided Adventure… where do I even begin? This one was a continuation of the study of human behavior — specifically: why do people gossip, trash talk, and lie?

We didn’t just look at why others in our lives do these things, but also the times in our own lives where we’ve done them. Was it survival? Was it business structure? Was it to protect ourselves or someone else? We examined those motives deeply.

From there, we looked into corporations — why they use gossip or deception — and also considered people who are literally trying to relocate their entire family out of harm’s way. That showed us it isn’t as simple as “lying, gossiping, trash talking = bad.” Sometimes there’s a bigger purpose behind it.

But then we also had to face the other side: the people who take those same survival mechanisms and twist them into gross, manipulative, and destructive behaviors. We asked: how can we neutralize that energy while still staying respectful of others, without doing things people don’t want done?

We also explored what it’s like for those of us who always tell the truth — how painful it can be to lie, even when a small adaptation might help in certain situations. And we looked at the victims who don’t feel safe speaking their truth because of fear: fear of gossip, fear of being labeled a liar, fear of backlash. That silence is its own prison.

So we worked on all of that. It was a lot. Honestly, I woke up with a massive headache and even got sick in the middle of the night. That’s how much was moving and clearing. We knew it was going to be impactful — but wow.
