October twenty-first, 2021

I had a really great session yesterday. I'm gonna keep it anonymous. They started out saying they had a very bad relationship with food, and I was like, wait, wait, wait — what do you mean? And they said it started at a young age, and they used food to gain control.

I asked, “Who told you that you used food to gain control? Who told you this?”

They said, “When I was little, I ate — like, it was bad — I ate leftover cupcakes out of the trash can.” I asked, “What age?” They said, “Around three or so.”

First of all, let me tell you something: there’s no such thing as leftover cupcakes. Ask anybody. There’s no such thing as leftover cupcakes. Whoever put the cupcakes in the trash can — that was a form of manipulation.

Second thing: as a three-year-old you don’t know that the trash can is garbage. You don’t know that at all. Your puzzle-solving mind — your soul naturally fixes things that don’t make sense and puts things back in the right order. You see cupcakes in the trash can, you’re probably gonna take them out to fix a situation that doesn’t make sense.

Then an adult tried to tell you that you were so disgusting or obsessed with food for eating from the trash can. That started to click a bunch of stuff for them.

I said, “Okay, now what we’re gonna do is walk back to three-year-old you, and you’re gonna treat her like you’re her sister.” I asked, “What were you trying to gain control of?” They said, “My parents used to fight a lot,” and went into more details.

I told them, “You’re gonna become that version of you's spirit guide.

As she needs to gain control, since you’re a healer, since you’re a trauma healer, since you’re a puzzle solver, that version of you tried to put herself in the middle of the fights between your mom and dad.

You need to take control in a different way. Let her know it’s not her fault. Not only is it not her fault, it’s not her job to fix it. Teach her how to handle those situations ahead of time. Take her into the other room and let her parents fight it out. Tell her, ‘It’s gonna be a while — let’s bring snacks.’”

Next thing I wanted them to do was teach that young version of themselves to pull toxins out of food and infuse nutrients and vitamins. There’s more, but I’ll leave it at that.

Okay, bye.
