Personal Adventure Stories:
The Class Guided Me In Healing
April 19, 2023.
So, I had something happen to me last Friday.
This month’s theme in the classes is clinical studies, where you offer up your own trauma — and if nobody wants to volunteer their own, either Kate or I will step up and use ours. It was a smaller class, since it was Friday — Friday classes are always a little smaller.
So, I presented them with an issue. The people there at that time were Paula and then Arelly, who joined a little later.
Paula started out, and I said, “Hey, this is what’s going on with me. I want to go live and I can’t. I haven’t been able to go live in, I don’t know, a month or two — not even putting up a free healing on the screen. I can go live for the podcast with Kate, but on my own, I’m stuck. I don’t know what’s going on with me.”
So Paula walked me through it. She took me to the most impactful point. I took myself completely out of the driver’s seat and let her guide me. Kate took a step back and was there for support in case Paula or Arelly needed help, but mostly she just held the space.
And — holy crap.
I broke down.
I was in excruciating pain and crying.
For them, walking me through that must’ve been a little scary, to be honest. Because it wasn’t just a simple “let’s go see your inner child” or “let’s visit a past life and heal something” kind of thing.
I had some severe stuff coming up. I was on screen crying, shaking, rocking back and forth, covering my ears — it wasn’t good. I was not in a good place.
We had to go back even further, to deal with deeper issues from when I was younger. But we got to the bottom of it. We figured out what was happening. We understood what was going on.
I just wanted to thank Paula and thank Arelly for walking me through that, and of course thank Kate — who stayed, monitored, and made sure I was okay, too.
It was a great class. You guys helped me a lot.
Still haven’t gone live by myself yet — at least at the time I was telling this story — but we healed a lot that day.
Okay… bye.
