Personal Childhood And Past Trauma Stories:
Making Room To Step Into Myself
August Twenty-Fourth, 2025
So I talked about this before, but I'm gonna bring it up again because it's been a while since I’ve talked about it. There’s no way I would have known that I was gonna be doing what I’m doing now, as in being a healer in this way. There’s no f-ing way.
When I got offered the office job—when I told my spirit team, “I want this many hours, this much pay, like all the things”—and I got offered the office job, it was below my mental capacity. It was removing Post-its, removing paper clips, and preparing paperwork for scanning. But I put a lot of care into my work. And I still put my spiritual energy into that work, but I had to sit there and focus and be like: do this job, do it well, do it fast, do this job, do it well, do it fast, do this job, do it well, do it fast. And then add in my spiritual stuff as I had the room to be creative and think.
By doing that, by being able to do that—while I was a single mom at home right before the pandemic hit, working a 9 to 5—I was able to work earlier than 9 to 5. I was able to get into the office around 6 or 7, and it was working out for me, and then I was able to stay until 5 and work all the hours. I was able to do all of that at a pay rate and at a mental capacity that gave me enough space that, before the pandemic happened, people were interested in past lives. And I knew how to guide people in past lives, and that took off.
So when quarantine happened and everybody wanted to do this, I had that energy. I also had a Clean home, single mom of 3, in a pandemic, with a 2-bedroom apartment and 2 cats that we took in that needed to be re-homed. Everything on lockdown, office job, and spiritual business. And that foundation—having that freedom in order to just be able to add that in—it worked wonders.
And now, that’s what I do. My spiritual business full-time. I don’t even do the office work anymore. I do miss it sometimes, just because I like the structure of it. But yeah, like—diving in headfirst into this—when you don’t know how to do this. how to build your business or anything, and then you’re exhausted, and then you’re stressed about finances and all the things? I don’t recommend it. I recommend a stepping stone, for sure.
Yeah, okay. Bye.
