Personal Childhood And Past Trauma Stories:
Will I EVER Make A Difference???
March Thirtieth, 2010
I’m frustrated and sad. I wanna make a difference. I really do. But if people don’t hear me, there’s nothing I can do.
I make it a point not to talk about religion or politics because I don’t wanna offend, but I offend with the things I do talk about.
People don’t wanna hear my astrology talk.
They don’t care if my child reads from doing Your Baby Can Read.Nothing I'm excited about seems to excite or inspire others. On top of that, now my boss at Olive Garden wants me to tell my coworkers they have too many olives on their salad...
My manager wants me to look at all the other servers when they bring salads out to their tables. and make sure there was only one olive per customer on the salad. She wants me to micromanage people… while micromanaging me.
I don't think I can make a difference in this world, or in people's lives. I have the desire, but I feel really overwhelmed and really underappreciated.
I don't know how I could ever do anything more than count olives in a salad at Olive Garden. Just some notes on the frustration I'm feeling today.
Okay, bye.
